Next, drive up Timothy Hill to the entrance of the Southeast Peninsula, where you will enjoy a breathtakingly beautiful drive over rolling hills. With each gentle turn, you’ll take in commanding views of both the salt ponds and the sea.
Arrive to the beach, where you will receive a warm, smiling welcome as you are escorted to the oversized wooden decks decorated in Caribbean themes. As you take in the incredible vistas, be sure to catch sight of nearby Nevis Island.

Board your transportation and ride approximately 20 minutes through Basseterre, passing the majestic homes of Frigate Bay and the manicured greens of the Royal St. Kitts Golf Club before traveling up the breathtaking ascent to Timothy Hill, where you can take in aerial views of the energetic Atlantic Ocean on one side and the calm Caribbean Sea on the other.
On arrival at the dive site on South Friars Beach, home of the prestigious Carambola Beach Club, you will gear up and receive your safety orientation, which includes a demonstration of how to use the SNUBA equipment.
Next, head out to the beautiful reefs to enjoy approximately 25 minutes exploring the plentiful marine life with your guide.

On this adventure you will...
Walk approximately 5 minutes from the ship’s gangway and board a custom-designed catamaran.
Receive a safety briefing and snorkeling instructions as you sail along the southwestern coast of St. Kitts for approximately 90 minutes. As the sails unfurl, your leisurely cruise will proceed along the leeward coast of St. Kitts, passing the Frigate Bay resort area and Friars Bay before arriving at the snorkel site.
Enter the water from the boat at the secluded cove of Shitten Bay. This tranquil, unspoiled location is only accessible by sea and shelters an abundance of marine life, with several varieties of reef fish flitting amongst volcanic rock formations, sea fans and sponges.
Spend approximately 65 minutes snorkeling at a depth of around 15 feet.
Enjoy an open bar serving ice-cold beer, rum punch and soft drinks as the catamaran sails are hoisted for the trip back to the ship.
Arrive back at the pier.
