  • Dead Man’s Chest

    • New beverage experience for two will include drinks that capture the true spirit of a pirate’s life on the high seas. Made with Zacapa 23 Solera Rum, Pineapple, Lime Juice, Agave Nectar, and Coconut Froth, this cocktail will fully immerse you in the cozy ship’s cabin atmosphere of Cask & Cannon – complete with gold coins!

  • The Cask and Cannon will feature easter eggs paying homage to each of the versions of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction around the world.

  • The ceiling of this location will also feature a treasure map adorned with sketches by Disney Legend Marc Davis for the original Disneyland attraction.

    • The drawing has been specially modified for this venue with several new additions, including seven pirate ships that represent the number of ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet with Disney Destiny joining as the seventh.

    • Scenes on the map are drawn from scenes and location from the attraction

    • Castaway and Lookout Cay is on the map

  • It would only make sense that Captain Jack Sparrow can be found in this location, but his appearances will only take place on Pirates night.

  • And down below, cleverly woven into the carpet design will be each of the pirate lords’ Pieces of Eight as well as Captain Jack Sparrow’s compass — though whether it points to your heart’s desire is only for you to tell

  • The pub will be decked out in wooden planks — evoking the interior of a pirate ship — and outfitted with an eclectic mix of mismatched furniture and antiques, presumably pillaged by the pirates themselves. Nautical motifs and pirate iconography will be found throughout, from treasure maps and fishing nets to barrel stools, rum bottles, and skull-and-crossbones insignias.

  • Eagle-eyed fans will have much to discover in the intricate carvings framing the venue’s portholes that are cast in a charred wood look, a nod to the attractions’ burning village scene, while the most well-traveled buccaneers will spot distinctive lanterns inspired from the namesake attraction in Disneyland Paris. 

  • There will even be a few fun nods to the beloved film series, such as the stacked treasure chests that make up the bar front, which take inspiration from the treasure rooms and Captain’s Quarters in the films

  • Ceiling with Mark Davis sketches of the Pirates of Caribbean have added Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay to the maps

  • Inside, guests will find a mismatched collection of “acquired” furnishings and antiques — treasure maps, fishing nets, rum bottles, and barrel stools — all tucked amid wooden planks that evoke the hull of a sea-worn ship.

  • The lounge is brimming with Easter eggs that pay tribute to both the films and the original attractions’ lore:

  • Distinctive lanterns are inspired by those used in Disneyland Paris’ version of the attraction

  • Thirteen treasure-filled drawers behind the bar are labeled with scenes representing Disney Parks and their Pirates attractions.

  • This easter egg is burned into my mind: if you look closely at the portholes, you’ll find intricate carvings etched into charred wood, a nod to the burning village scene.
