From the lagoon, go upstream for a short distance before turning back toward the sea. This section of the tour lasts about 30 minutes.

The class begins with manual grinding of cocoa nibs grown on island. Use a mortar & pestle to grind the nibs until they transform into liquified chocolate. Add in personal touches of desired flavors along the way, which makes each chocolate a unique signature bar.

Board an air-conditioned coaster and travel approximately 90 minutes through Castries, along the west coast of St. Lucia. You’ll travel up the Morne and through the Cul de Sac and Roseau valleys for spectacular views of the Pitons.
Take a brief drive to the Morne Coubaril Estate, a plantation with a working mill producing sugarcane syrup, cocoa and coffee. On-site cultural experiences include authentic village huts, gorgeous botanical gardens and coconut de-husking demonstrations.
Spend approximately an hour at the estate exploring the gardens and breaking for photos of spectacular island views. You’ll also have the opportunity to taste ripe cocoa, see cocoa production and explore a sugarcane mill before sampling some fresh cane juice.
Depart the estate and travel to Toraille Waterfalls & Gardens, where a 50-foot waterfall cascades into a pool of fresh mountain spring water. Enjoy time to explore the falls and even take a refreshing swim.
Reboard your coaster for the one-hour trip back to the port.

On this adventure you will...
Travel approximately 20 minutes by air-conditioned coaster along a scenic island route to the Morne Fortune overlook for spectacular views of Castries Harbor.
Continue on to the Inniskilling Monument, erected in honor of the British regiment that captured the Morne from the French in 1796.
Take a short drive to Caribelle Batik to see artisans creating patterned batik cloth using colorful dyes and hot wax. Spend a few minutes shopping at this unique location.
Journey across the island, its countryside and small communities for approximately 30 minutes on your way to Stony Hill. Pause for a brief photo stop overlooking Marquis Estate, formerly the island's largest banana plantation.
Explore Stony Hill—a 1.5-acre property brimming with flowering plants, fruit trees, herbs, an orchid garden and a waterfall—for approximately an hour before enjoying refreshments of local juices and snacks. More panoramic views are yours to enjoy: Labrelotte Bay, Rodney Bay, Pigeon Island, the Caribbean Sea and the island of Martinique to the west and the Monchy Valley, La Bourne Hills and Atlantic Ocean to the west.

Start your invigorating 3-mile run passing along the edge of the Castries Harbor. You’ll want to be sure to come back later to experience firsthand the traditional eateries and gift shops that line the path.
Get your daily dose of exercise while jogging to Vigie, one of the island’s longest stretches of beach. Head toward the Vigie Lighthouse, where you can view the ruins of the French and British barrack buildings that were used during the fierce18th-century battles between the 2 European nations for ownership of this beautiful island.
Enjoy a scenic break at the lighthouse to hydrate with some water and fruit, and experience one of the best views of the Castries Harbor before running back to the pier.
