  • On this adventure you will… 

  • Meet your guides, complete all necessary paperwork and take a short 15-minute ride through the town of Mahahual to a PADI 5 Star Dive Center. During the ride, the guide will share interesting facts about the town of Mahahual and point out areas of interest. Note: Guests must provide a valid dive certification card and photo ID on board the ship and on the day of the dive. It is recommended that you have completed at least one dive in the past 12 months. 

  • Arrive at the center and receive a short debriefing and introduction to the dive staff. Then receive your gear and suit up for the day’s excursion. 

  • Board the dive boat for a 15-minute ride to the magnificent Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. This breathtaking reef is known for its beautiful corals and exotic marine life, including sea turtles, lobsters, stingrays, dolphins and a seemingly endless variety of tropical reef fish.

  • Complete a short surface interval prior to performing the second tank dive. 

  • Ride the boat back to the dive center. Then return to the pier or choose to stay in town to enjoy the local culture and beautiful beaches. Note: Guests choosing to stay in town will need to return to the pier via taxi at their own expense.

  • On this adventure you will… 

  • Meet with our specialized bilingual staff at the pier. Allow them to help you with checking in and boarding the shuttle. 

  • After a short ride, arrive at Mayá, Lost Mayan Kingdom, the perfect setting for an adrenaline-pumping day of adventures. 

  • Once inside the park, have a blast exploring all the exciting attractions. The 8 water slides include features such as straight drops and spins-try the thrilling Kamikaze slides or the Hydro-Whip for unbelievable examples of each! The River Expedition is a slow and easy inner tube ride that immerses you in a jungle environment. 

  • Once you've had enough water fun, take to the sky on either of 2 zip line courses. Soar through 3,000 feet of line, enjoying a birds-eye view of the entire park, the surrounding jungle and the Caribbean Sea. Work your way through the rope course and across the suspension bridge. Top it all off with the showstopper, the Kukulcan Zip Coaster. The Kukulcan is an 800-foot long flight with twists and turns. If relaxation is on your mind, head over to the pool or a natural cenote and lie back. Send the kids to discover the Teen Park, a set of smaller slides for our younger Guests.

  • After your fun at the adventure park, make a great day even better at Beach Escape, a beach club in Mahahual, Costa Maya. Located on the boardwalk of the fisherman’s village, Beach Escape has something for everyone. On the club’s north side, join the party by the pool bar. The staff will make sure you enjoy your day Costa Maya style. Drinks are free, so party to your heart’s content. 

  • If you prefer a bit of peace and quiet, the tamer south side of Beach Escape is for you. Throughout, enjoy the Costa Maya’s famous white sand and turquoise water. As you arrive, our hosts will provide a quick orientation of the areas and facilities available to you; also, our friendly staff will attend to your comfort, adding to a day of fun and relaxation. Kayaks are available, should you want to paddle out.
