The sun was shining. The water was calm. Today was the perfect day to slather on some sunscreen and make our way to Castaway Cay before the big reveal this evening.

But before leaving the ship, I needed coffee to function and restore my energy for the day. Straying from my usual Salted Caramel Coconut Latte this morning, I was surprised with a Royal Voyage Latte featuring Prince Eric stamped onto it… Immediately my mind started wondering, how will Eric be joining us today in the Bahamas?

Discovering Clues on Island Time

Continuing the fun on the island, I was offered three different activities to reach my first clue: snorkeling, a sand puzzle, or a bike ride.

This journey was up to the adventurer, and I decided to make my way to the puzzle near the Sand Bar because a puzzle hates to see me coming. Game face on and hair pulled back; I went to work pulling out the pieces from the sandbox to form the picture together.

As everything came together, an image of Mirabel from Studios’ Encanto appeared and led me to my next question: When did Encanto premiere? With my number “2021” I went to unlock my treasure chest with the key and unveiled a treasure map that would take me to my next three locations on the island.

But quick, a pit stop to grab some soft-serve ice cream because we are celebrating an exciting day with Disney Cruise Line, and the best way to do that is with a sweet treat!

“X” Marks the Spot

Starting from left to right on my new map, I made my way to the Mickey and Minnie Cove Cabanas, so I could receive my ticket for the Disney Believe reveal.

But quick, a pit stop to grab some soft-serve ice cream because we are celebrating an exciting day with Disney Cruise Line, and the best way to do that is with a sweet treat!

Puzzle piece secured, it became clear that our last puzzle of the scavenger hunt was going to be the ticket itself.

On a mission to bring that ticket to life, it was time to go to Summertime Freeze for the next piece… and apparently, an Olaf sipper to go with it. But is this just a coincidence? What does Olaf have to do with it?

Questions stirring in my mind, I could not contain my excitement with only one spot remaining. With a relaxing stroll over to Boat Beach, I found my final puzzle piece and friend Moana. Now that is the perfect way to end a Story-Hunt.

Many questions were solved, but so many answers remained. I’m ready for the big event.
