Disney Cruise Line Named Best Cruise Line for Families in Travel Weekly Asia’s 2026 Readers’ Choice Awards
Ahoy, Disney Cruise Line fans! Disney Cruise Line has earned another industry accolade, this time from travel professionals and readers across Asia. At the 2026 Travel Weekly Asia Readers’ Choice Awards, Disney Cruise Line was named Best Cruise Line (Family) during a milestone year that includes the inaugural season of the Disney Adventure sailing from Singapore.
The awards ceremony took place earlier this month at the Mandarin Oriental in Singapore, recognizing 46 winners across seven categories. According to Travel Weekly Asia, this year’s awards included 23 returning winners and 23 new honorees across the travel industry.
Disney Cruise Line Wins Best Cruise Line for Families
Disney Cruise Line received the award for Best Cruise Line (Family), recognizing its place in the family cruise market. Disney has built its onboard experience around storytelling, character encounters, Broadway-style entertainment, themed dining, and activities designed for guests of different ages.
The recognition comes as Disney Cruise Line expands its presence in Asia with the Disney Adventure, which began sailing from Singapore in March 2026. The ship brings Disney-themed entertainment, dining, and experiences to a new regional audience, offering three- and four-night itineraries that include days at sea.
The timing makes this award particularly noteworthy for Disney Cruise Line, as the Disney Adventure introduces more travelers in Asia to the brand's approach to family cruising.
Marina Bay Cruise Centre Also Takes Home an Award
Disney Cruise Line wasn't the only cruise-related winner connected to Singapore. The Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore was named Best Cruise Terminal (Asia) in the 2026 awards.
The terminal serves as the Disney Adventure's homeport, making this a notable double recognition for Singapore's cruise scene. With Disney Adventure sailings operating from the city-state, both the cruise line and its homeport terminal received recognition in their respective categories.
For travelers planning a Disney Adventure sailing, the terminal is an important part of the overall journey, serving as the gateway to their cruise vacation.

Recognizing Excellence Across Asia's Travel Industry
The Travel Weekly Asia Readers’ Choice Awards celebrate organizations across the travel industry, including cruise lines, airlines, hotels, destinations, and travel agencies.

She also highlighted the industry's diversity, innovation, and commitment to exceptional service.
For Disney Cruise Line, the Best Cruise Line (Family) award adds to the recognition the brand receives for its family-oriented vacation experiences. It also arrives at an exciting time as the Disney Adventure establishes its presence in Singapore.
