Enjoy the natural landscape of Beowa National Park and experience a gentle walk to Boyds Tower and surrounding viewing platforms.
On this adventure you will…
Board your transportation for an approximately 45-minute transfer to the Beowa National Park where you will be accompanied by a New South Wales National Parks Discovery Ranger.
The Ranger will present local information in relation to Beowa National Park, the history held within, and the future importance of conservation on your way to Boyds Tower.
Explore the area at your own pace on uneven surfaces with no stairs, return loop distance is approximately 0.8 kilometers. Take the opportunity to ask further questions of your Ranger at the five viewing platforms as you navigate along the track.
Capture memorable images and selfies of your time in Beowa National Park. The lookouts include views towards Eden, the ship and the beautiful sandstone tower with the coastline stretching south and north.
Board your transportation and journey back to Eden where you will make a brief stop at the Eden lookout. Here you will view Boyd's Tower from across the bay and learn of the unique cultural and natural heritage of Twofold Bay.
On your journey back to the ship, your Ranger will share more information on the conservation and rehabilitation works being undertaken in the area, including the reintroduction of little penguins back to Eden.

On this adventure you will…
Begin your tour with a brief walk along the pier, where you will board a sleek, twin-hulled catamaran and begin a leisurely cruise through Twofold Bay, one of the deepest natural harbors in the Southern hemisphere. British explorer George Bass named the bay for the two distinct curves or folds in the shoreline.
While cruising, a guide will elaborate on the history of Eden and Twofold Bay’s vital role in the development of the area. Because of the ideal conditions, the bay was home to numerous whaling stations in the 19th century. Whales are still so prevalent that these waters are known as the Humpback Highway, a reference to the thousands of humpback whales that pass by between September and November on the way to Antarctica.
Enjoy a hot beverage of tea or coffee, and a cookie as your cruise the bay.
Conclude your roughly 2-hour cruise and debark the catamaran and walk back to your cruise ship.

Arrive at the oyster farm, where you will have the opportunity to discover the complete oyster story with a tour of the state-of-the-art factory and video, showing the complete history of oyster farming and the life cycle of oysters.
See how sustainably farmed oysters are prepared for dining on the premises, and also shipped from the state-of-the-art factory. A video goes into even more detail about the history of oyster farming and the lifecycle of oysters.
By the end of the tour, you will know more about oysters than you ever imagined. Of course, you will also have the opportunity to taste some of the oysters farmed in the lake here. These fresh oysters are known for being plump, succulent, and delectable.
Following the tasting, you will return to Eden for a brief panoramic tour of the downtown area and then some free time before returning to the pier.

On this adventure you will…
Begin your tour with a van transfer to Broadwater Lake, an approximately 30-minute drive from Eden.
Your qualified kayak guide will provide safety briefing, fit personal flotation devices and give a quick lesson on how to paddle, if required, as you venture into the water.
The kayaks are stable and easy to maneuver, with little to no experience necessary.
The Pambula River is clear with white sand at the bottom, allowing paddlers to possibly see fish or stingrays. Birdlife is prolific so you may see white bellied sea eagles, cormorants and kingfishers amongst others.
Your guide will provide information about the history, culture and ecology of the region as you kayak. Stop at a secluded beach for a refreshing drink and snack before paddling back to Broadwater Lake.

Depart the pier via motorcoach and head for Merimbula, which has always been a beautiful place of sheltered waters and seafood feasts.
Along the way, enjoy a quick stop and photo opportunity at Short Point, where an easy walking track takes you out to the headland for spectacular views.
Enjoy a photo stop at Cocora Beach a picturesque location.
Reboard your bus and drive back toward Eden, which is set in the magnificent Twofold Bay – the third deepest natural harbor in the southern hemisphere. Eden was home to shore-based whaling stations and Old Tom, the legendary killer whale whose story can be discovered at the Eden Killer Whale Museum. You’ll see the pristine Aslings Beach, a fishermen’s favorite and often home to migrating whales who are nursing their young before heading south.
Along the drive you will pass Quarantine Bay – peaceful and ringing with bell bird calls. There is always something to watch on the water here as the bay is home to a four lane boat ramp, Quarantine Bay Yacht Club, and the Eden Amateur Fishermen’s Club.
Arrive at the Whale Museum and enjoy approximately 40 minutes of free time.
Conclude the tour and head back to the pier via your motorcoach.

Meet your National Parks discovery guide as you disembark the ship and board the motorcoach for a scenic 35-minute drive to Boyd's Tower.
The guide will present local information in relation to the National Parks, the history held within them, the future and importance of national parks and wildlife on the trip to Boyd's Tower.
Once at Boyd's Tower, your guide will start with a walking tour and provide commentary at each of the five viewing platforms, where you will have time to capture memorable images of the visit. The lookouts include views towards Eden, the ship and the tower with the coastline stretching south and north. After approximately 90 minutes at Boyd's Tower, you will return to your motorcoach.
Drive from Boyd's Tower to Eagles Claw Nature Reserve, where you will be escorted through a small Nature Reserve to another viewing platform, this time looking back towards Boyd’s Tower. The guide will explain the rehabilitation of the area and bringing little penguins back to Eden.
Enjoy approximately 45 minutes at Eagles Claw, after which you will return to the pier via motorcoach.

As you disembark your transportation you will overlook the stunning sapphire blue waters of Haycock Beach.
Appreciate the scenic beauty of the area while exploring the surroundings. Don’t forget to capture some memorable moments with your camera.
Begin your 1.5km walk along an easy to moderate trail with variant gradients through a tall eucalypt forest with views to the South.
As you continue on you will pass by the Pinnacles rock formation.
Be sure to keep your eyes peeled as you may see iconic Australian animals such as the Eastern Grey Kangaroo, Wallaby, Goanna and plenty of bird species along the trail before you return to the transportation.
