  • Amalienborg Palace

    • See the winter home of Denmark's royal family, and watch the changing of the guard at noon daily, preceded by a parade at 11:30 AM. The palace is the country's best example of Rococo architecture and its largest castle.

  • Rosenborg Castle

    • The most recognizable of Denmark's castles was constructed in 1606 as the summer home of Danish King Christian IV. Today, it houses Danish treasures, including the Royal Jewels, and features ornate ballrooms and extravagant halls.
