Premium Fireworks Viewing Party on the Disney Adventure Dazzle and Delights Review
If you're sailing on the Disney Adventure, there's a brand-new way to enjoy the spectacular Lion King fireworks show without fighting the crowds on the open decks.
Disney Cruise Line recently introduced a paid dessert party experience called Dazzle and Delights for their new Lion King-themed fireworks spectacular, The Lion King Celebration in the Sky. For now, this experience can only be booked once you're onboard — even Concierge guests aren't able to reserve it in advance.
Here’s everything you need to know based on our recent experience:
How did you book it? We called Guest Services the moment we entered our stateroom and were able to reserve it right away.
Was it hard to get / did it sell out? It didn’t feel oversold at all. The area never felt crowded, and every guest had a guaranteed seat. Seating is first-come, first-served once you check in, with spots further back actually offering the best views of the full show.
How much does it cost? $49 per person, charged directly to your onboard account.
What’s included?
Roaming servers passed a nice variety of desserts: chocolate-covered strawberries, colorful macarons, and bite-sized individual tarts.
Non-alcoholic option: unlimited specialty juices.
Alcoholic option: unlimited sparkling wine and domestic beer.
A complimentary Simba-themed trading pin (retail value around $15–16).
Was it worth the money? For $49, it felt like solid value if you enjoy a drink or two. The real win was skipping the massive crowds and chaos on the regular decks — that alone made it worthwhile for us. While there are plenty of free desserts elsewhere on the ship, the relaxed atmosphere, guaranteed seating, and perfect fireworks view made the package enjoyable. The desserts were a nice touch but not the main draw.
Would you book it again? Absolutely. If we want to watch The Lion King Celebration in the Sky, we’ll only do it through the Dazzle and Delights package from now on. The unobstructed view and stress-free experience were excellent.
Pro tip for late dining guests If you have the later dinner seating, make sure to tell your servers that you have this experience booked. You’ll want to be finished with dinner by around 9:40 pm so you can arrive at the viewing area by the 10 pm check-in time and get better seating.
Overall, Dazzle and Delights is a great option for anyone who wants a more comfortable and premium way to enjoy the new fireworks show. Highly recommended if you don’t mind the extra cost for the added comfort and convenience.
