Sentosa Island Transforms into a Disney Adventure Playground for Summer 2026
A brand-new Disney experience is taking over Singapore’s Sentosa Island this summer, bringing the magic of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Adventure, ashore in a big way.
A Summer Celebration Inspired by Disney Adventure
Beginning June 24 through September 20, 2026, Sentosa Island will host a limited-time event that immerses visitors in the stories, characters, and themed environments featured aboard the Disney Adventure. This marks the first time the island has been fully reimagined around a Disney Cruise Line ship, turning the destination into an extension of the onboard experience.
Located just off Singapore’s southern coast, Sentosa is already known for its beaches, attractions, and resort atmosphere—making it a natural fit for this large-scale collaboration.
An Island-Wide Disney Experience
Dubbed “A Magical Island Adventure,” the event unfolds throughout the day, gradually transforming Sentosa into a vibrant Disney-inspired destination. As evening approaches, the island shifts into a glowing nighttime spectacle with neon-style lighting that offers a completely different visual experience.
Multiple locations across Sentosa will feature themed installations inspired by the ship’s seven distinct areas. Highlights include oversized decorative elements like a massive anchor display with Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie, as well as ocean-inspired lighting features influenced by Moana.
Guests can explore themed zones stretching from the Sentosa Cable Car Line to Sensoryscape, Palawan Beach, and even the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia. On select weekends, character meet-and-greet opportunities will also be available.
Transportation Gets a Disney Touch
Starting in early July, the Sentosa Express monorail will receive a Disney Cruise Line makeover, featuring artwork of Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie. The transformation extends to the Sentosa Cable Car Line as well, where all three stations—Sensoryscape, Imbiah Lookout, and Siloso Point—will offer themed photo opportunities.
Cable car cabins themselves will showcase designs inspired by areas of the Disney Adventure, including Toy Story Place and Disney Discovery Reef.
Exclusive Merchandise and Interactive Activities
The event also introduces a variety of limited-time merchandise and interactive experiences. Guests can participate in island-wide quests, collecting stamps at different locations to unlock special rewards.
Available items include:
A limited-edition beach towel (unlocked through quest completion)
Commemorative sticker sheets
Exclusive keychains for social media participation
Glow-in-the-dark medallion pins for qualifying purchases
Special postcards distributed at night
Select merchandise—including towels, eco bags, and keychains—will be available beginning July 6 through the end of the event, while supplies last.
Special Perks for Disney Adventure Sailings
Travelers booked on the Disney Adventure between June 24 and October 1, 2026, can take advantage of added benefits while visiting Sentosa. These include a complimentary Sentosa Discovery Choice Pass, discounts on select attractions, and exclusive gifts such as themed tumblers or eco bags.
About the Disney Adventure
The Disney Adventure is the latest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet and stands out as its largest ship to date. Originally started for another cruise line, the vessel was reimagined and completed by Disney, resulting in a one-of-a-kind cruise experience.
The ship features seven themed neighborhoods:
Town Square
San Fransokyo Street
Wayfinder Bay
Disney Discovery Reef
Disney Imagination Gardens
Toy Story Place
Marvel Landing
With a mix of classic Disney Cruise Line experiences and entirely new concepts—including an expansive concierge “ship within a ship”—the Disney Adventure represents a major evolution for the fleet.
Bringing the Ship to Shore
This summer-long activation on Sentosa Island effectively extends the Disney Adventure experience beyond the ship itself, giving guests even more ways to engage with Disney storytelling before or after their cruise.
For visitors in Singapore, it’s a rare opportunity to experience Disney Cruise Line magic without ever stepping onboard—though it may just inspire the next voyage.
