St. Thomas Magens Bay Beach Break ST27

  • $79 ages 10 and up, $59 ages 3 to 9, $0 ages 0 to 2

  • 5 hours and 15 minutes

  • Meet in Walt Disney Theater 9:15 am

  • Grab towels from the ship to use on the excursion and bring back

  • Board an open-air safari jeep with about 15 people around 25 minutes each way

  • Received a bottle of warm water for the jeep ride

  • Stopped at a lookout area for photos of Magens Beach

    • Amazing view and photos

    • Well worth the stoppage

  • Arrived at beach around 10:15 am because of stoppage

  • Pick up 1 pm (around 3 – 3.5 hours at the beach)

  • On the beach offered 3 rows of nice beach chairs (not cheap chairs) with beach umbrellas enough for everyone on the excursions

  • You can pay for upgraded chairs and cabanas (see photo for prices very expensive)

  • The beach was more crowded than other excursions but big enough for the number of people

  • Small shop had some snorkel gear, towels, clothes and sunscreen for sale

  • Had a bar and food area

  • Very few tables to each any food at (4 at most) therefore brought food back to beach chairs

  • The bathrooms and outdoor showers were quite a walk from where the beach chairs are. Definitely try to wait until the end of the day.

  • Food is very expensive for what you get and a 15 percent gratuity added to every check, but it was made fresh

  • Take cash and credit card

  • Drinks are nice and strong

  • Can rent snorkels and floats

  • Water was warm and clear

  • One small gift shop next to the food area

  • After excursion dropped off in the mall and shops area or a short walk back to the ship

  • Overall felt very safe at the beach and our items, but I would recommend bringing food from the ship (uncrustables or boxes of cereal) or eating a huge breakfast and waiting to eat lunch back on the ship especially with the food prices
