The parlor itself holds secrets tied to a jovial sea captain and his enigmatic fiancé, inviting curious guests to unravel the mystery hidden within its walls.  

  • Situated on Deck 3 just forward of the Grand Hall, this lounge offers from inspired craft cocktails and an exclusive onboard merchandise collection to nostalgic décor and beloved characters, the Haunted Mansion Parlor will immerse guests in the next chapter of the Haunted Mansion saga, bringing this fan-favorite lore to life in a whole new way. The one-of-a-kind experience will be a swinging wake unlike any other, that of a jovial captain who entered the ghostly realm after a disastrous dinner with his beloved fiancé.

  • The design of the Haunted Mansion Parlor will resemble a first-class drawing room of a classic cruise liner from the golden age, invoking inspiration from the original Haunted Mansion with a nautical twist. Complete with nostalgic tributes to Haunted Mansion attractions around the world, fans will recognize the iconic wallpaper and the distinctive purple armchair tucked in the corner.

  • You will also encounter a few legendary characters from the original Disney Parks attraction, as well as some new seafaring arrivals, in a portrait gallery depicting the Disney Treasure’s own ghostly residents.

  • The parlor will include tributes from the attraction, including the iconic purple wallpaper and distinctive purple armchair tucked in the corner, better known to Disney Parks fans as the “Donald Duck” chair.

  • A Happy Haunt at Sea

  • Is that an illusion you see or is it just your imagination? Welcome foolish mortals to this first-of-its-kind haunted lounge featuring ghoulishly delightful "spirits." But be forewarned: grim grinning ghosts are bound to materialize as a new chapter of the beloved 999 happy haunts story is about to unfold.

  • Senior Costume Designer with Disney Live Entertainment, Josh Winchester, who previously designed crew uniforms for the Disney Wish, is now developing uniforms for the Disney Treasure’s new themed spaces. In creating his designs, Josh set out to strike a balance between honoring the original park attractions and film that inspired these venues and customizing each look to be uniquely Disney Cruise Line.

  • “In my role, I have the opportunity to shape how our crew members will fold into the story and energize the worlds Imagineers have built,” said Josh.

  • Josh’s designs for the Haunted Mansion Parlor costumes promise to bring the ominous Haunted Mansion lore to life onboard the Disney Treasure. A striking green pincord vest will be stylishly layered atop a striped purple shirt, reminiscent of the wallpaper from the famous stretching room, which has been featured in Haunted Mansion attractions across the globe. True to the nostalgic aesthetic of the Haunted Mansion franchise, the costumes will combine a moody color scheme with Easter Egg-riddled accessories, including a mysterious set of keys.

  • Aboard the Disney Destiny, the Haunted Mansion Parlor honors more than five decades of fandom and introduces the world to the next chapter of the Haunted Mansion saga. Guests will enjoy spooktacular, specialty cocktails themed to the classic Disney Parks attraction and its inhabitants, as well as a variety of Haunted Mansion details from around the world.

  • Poseidon Mug showcasing the god of the sea will be sold in the Haunted Mansion Parlor, a lounge that evokes inspiration from the original theme park attraction.

  • Sip among the 999 happy haunts with the Siren Mug, another novelty that will be available at the Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Disney Destiny. This double-sided design features a sinister siren who transforms into an elegant aquatic beauty in the blink of an eye.

  • The popular drink of the same name on the Disney Treasure will feature all-new ingredients on the Disney Destiny, including Camus VSOP Cognac, Cointreau Noir, Joto Yuzu Sake, Orange Blossom Foam, and Edible Viola Flowers.

Imagineer Rolly Crump Honored on Newest Disney Cruise Line Ship

A new sculpture, bound for the Haunted Mansion Parlor onboard the Disney Treasure, is being crafted at a dedicated Walt Disney Imagineering workshop at Walt Disney World Resort. Who inspired this mysterious bust? The sculpture was modeled in the image of the famed Disney Legend, Rolly Crump.

Nicknamed “Rolly” by Walt Disney himself, Roland Crump served as a Disney Imagineer during the early days of the company and played an integral role in designing the original Haunted Mansion at Disneyland Resort. Six decades later, the Haunted Mansion Parlor will unlock the next chapter of the Haunted Mansion saga for Disney Cruise Line guests. The venue will be imbued with Crump’s unique brand of humor and is a proud continuation of his legacy, celebrating the weird and the fantastical.

Part of Rolly’s larger creative concept for a “Museum of the Weird” in the Haunted Mansion, his original vision included a character that appeared to be melting like a candle. It was only fitting for the design for Rolly’s memorial bust to stem from his own ideas, which led to the sculpted drips on the side of his face and a memorial plaque that reads, “BROTHER ROLAND- FOREVER REVERED FOR EMBRACING THE WEIRD.” When the Disney Treasure sets sail, Rolly Crump’s statue will have a place of honor within the Haunted Mansion Parlor.
